Michelin Star Chef Bringing New Restaurant To Westfield World Trade Center Complex
David Humm will open his new, casual restaurant on the ground floor of the 3 Word Trade Center tower next year.
FIDI, NY — A new high profile restaurant is coming to the Westfield World Trade Center complex next year. Acclaimed chef Daniel Humm and his partner, Will Guidara, plan to open a casual but notable eatery on the ground floor of the 3 Word Trade Center tower, The Times reports.
Humm and Guidara own the contemporary American restaurant Eleven Madison Park in Midtown and the NoMad in the NoMad hotel.

Eleven Madison Park has received numerous accolades, including: six James Beard Foundation Awards (including Outstanding Chef and Outstanding Restaurant in America), a top spot on the San Pellegrino list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants and four stars from The Times.

NoMad has earned: a James Beard Foundation Award, three stars from The Times and one Michelin Star.
Their new restaurant will occupy 7,000 square feet and overlook the Oculus, The Times reports. The restaurant's name and designer have not yet been determined.

“We are still a long way out from opening and have ways to go in terms of developing/refining, etc.,” Mr. Guidara said in an email to The Times.
