• Dryden land preserve overlooks and trails now more accessibl... (tompkinsweekly.com) — New accessibility upgrades at Dryden’s Roy H. Park Preserve now make its trails, overlooks, and wetlands easier to enjoy for visitors of all abilities. Local officials say the improvements, including ADA-compliant features and better parking, significantly expand inclusive access to one of the town’s most peaceful natural areas, open daily from dawn to dusk for low-impact recreation.

• State Police: Dryden Man Facing Several Felony Weapons Charges (wxhc.com) — A 36-year-old Dryden resident has been charged after State Police say they recovered an illegal assault-style firearm, a large-capacity ammunition device, and found evidence of alleged child endangerment. He was processed in Ithaca and taken to Tompkins County Jail for centralized arraignment, with multiple felony weapons counts now pending in local courts.

• Alleged Red Hook School Arson Follows Similar Recent Incidents Across New York State (thedailycatch.org) — A recent statewide look at school bathroom arson incidents highlights a January fire at Dryden High School that forced evacuation of more than 670 students and staff to Tompkins Cortland Community College.
