• Town of Aurora and Village of East Aurora to pursue 'bait and shoot' program to manage deer population (wkbw.com) — East Aurora and the Town of Aurora plan to launch a professional "bait and shoot" deer management program after traditional methods failed to curb rising deer and tick problems. The program would start after the 2026–27 hunting season, with sites still undecided, and local residents are being asked to email feedback that will be included in the state application. 
• Carnasciale remains red hot at Cecil County with fifth season victory (dragchamp.com) — East Aurora racing fans will spot local driver Josh Williams in the results from the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series stop at Cecil County Dragway, where he reached the Super Gas final in his '63 Corvette. The event featured racers from across the Northeast and beyond, with multiple classes crowning winners and highlighting strong regional competition.
