Cloud Storage Confusion

Does the concept of "The Cloud" have you feeling like you’ve had your head in the clouds for the past few years? Chances are you have well spent a decent amount of money in your tax bill to our beautiful library here in East Islip. So why not take this perfect opportunity to learn and sort it all out? The East Islip Public Library is offering a class entitled: WHAT IS CLOUD STORAGE? This class is offered on Wednesday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. When I called this morning there was still space! The library description for the class is exactly as follows:

"In this lecture/demo class you will learn all about "cloud" storage.

What is the cloud? Where is the cloud located? Who uses the cloud?

These questions and more will be answered. Students will learn about

popular cloud services such as Apple iCloud, Google Drive/Photos,

MS One Drive and Dropbox."
