Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In East Islip Crash

The motorcycle collided with a 2019 BMW on Monday night.

EAST ISLIP, NY - A motorcyclists was seriously injured after a crash with a BMW in East Islip on Monday night, according to Suffolk Police.

Brendan Patton, 33, of West Islip was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Main Street near Fern Place when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a 2019 BMW at 6 p.m.

Patton was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries.

The driver of the BMW, 62-year-old Stephen Nowakowski, of East Islip, was not injured.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.

On Sunday, two motorcyclists were killed in two separate crashes in Suffolk County.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
