More Than 50 Dogs Saved From Midwest Commercial Breeding Facilities
The pups will be available for adoption in the coming days.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — More than 50 small dogs and puppies were rescued from Midwest commercial breeding facilities.
These pups were brought in on a rescue transport on the chilly Sunday morning to Port Washington's North Shore Animal League America.
NSALA's team returned from Missouri with the dogs in collaboration with long-time partner National Mill Dog Rescue– the first transport with NMDR of 2026. NSALA said each rescue trip is costly and would be impossible without teamwork and financial donations.
