Agenda For The East Hampton Board Of Trustees Meeting

The Village of East Hampton Board of Trustees will be holding their regular meeting on Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Emergency Services Building at 1 Cedar St. at 6 p.m.

Agenda for the Oct. 2 meeting:

• Notice to bidders for the Sea Spray Roofing Project, with the bid opening to be held on October 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., at Village Hall.

• Notice for a Request for Qualifications from qualified environmental engineering firms experienced in water quality studies, watershed management plans, and water quality improvement projects to develop a watershed management plan for Hook Pond, with sealed proposals due no later than November 14, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Village Hall.

• Approve the revised five-year maintenance contract with Stryker for the maintenance of the stretchers and stair chairs used by the Ambulance Association, at the total cost of $15,843.20.

• Approve the attendance & reimbursement of reasonable & necessary expenses (lodging, travel, meals & registration) incurred for Michael Bouker to attend the NYCOM Public Works Training School, Oct. 20 – 22 in Saratoga Springs, NY.

• Approve the attendance & reimbursement of reasonable & necessary expenses (registration-$200, lodging-$536, travel & meals) incurred for Sgt’s Duchemin and Erickson to attend the NYS Highway Annual Fall Symposium, Oct. 19-22, 2014 in Lake Placid, NY.

• Re-assign Traffic Control Officer Amber Makwinski as a Part-time Traffic Control Specialist, at the same hourly rate of $13.50.

• Approve August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015 employment agreement with John K. Howie as Senior Building Inspector.
