• Handyman Busted After Stealing Jewelry — Twice — From East Hampton Home: PD (patch.com) — East Hampton residents are being urged to contact town police if they suspect a self-employed handyman may have stolen from their homes, after detectives say he twice burglarized a Katie Lane residence in Amagansett for jewelry. The 21-year-old Hampton Bays man was arrested on multiple felony burglary and grand larceny charges and was held for arraignment in East Hampton Town Justice Court.
