Bees play an important role in the health of our food supply, simply by pollinating all manner of flowering plants at the farm. Meet beekeeper, Mary Woltz, owner of Bees’ Needs, and learn more about the important work of her bees during this presentation offered by Peconic Land Trust. Get an up-close look at the hives at the farm, and learn more as Mary discusses colony collapse, and other issues affecting the health of local bee populations.
