Located at 400 Pantigo Place in East Hampton, the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department opened in May 2025 as an off-campus extension of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s emergency department. One of the few freestanding emergency departments in New York State, the 23,000-square-foot facility provides 24/7, year-round emergency care for residents and visitors across the South Fork.

Since opening in May 2025, the EHED has served more than 11,000 patients, underscoring the critical need for emergency care close to home, organizers said.

"If you are unable to attend the luncheon but would still like to support the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, please consider making a donation," organizers said. "Your generosity helps ensure that expert, lifesaving emergency care remains available for everyone in our community—every hour of every day. Every contribution helps strengthen access to care when it is needed most."
