East Hampton Historical Society to Host Ribbon Cutting in Celebration for the New Collections Center

East Hampton Historical Society will host a ribbon cutting and reception to celebrate the new Collections Center on Mulford Farm (10 James Lane, East Hampton) on Thursday, August 27. A brief ceremony to celebrate the important milestone and the generosity of donors who made it possible will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception underwritten by Chubb. The celebration is free to attend with RSVP tickets available here.

Initially envisioned in 1980, the Collections Center will house the Historical Society’s collection of nearly 20,000 artifacts in state-of-the-art environmental conditions, the facility will not be open to the public.
