The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center will welcome the community for its Fall Family Fun Festival on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center, located at 228 West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.
Celebrating community, conservation and connection, the Fall Family Fun Festival will offer an afternoon of seasonal activities and wildlife education for the whole family. Guests will have the opportunity to meet some of the Center’s remarkable wildlife ambassadors, including its Great Horned Owl and Vlad the Turkey Vulture, while learning more about Long Island wildlife and the important work being done to protect it.
Throughout the festival, attendees can shop from local vendors, meet and learn from participating wildlife organizations, enjoy offerings from food trucks, and take part in a variety of children’s activities, including pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, and more.
The event provides families with a fun way to celebrate the fall season while connecting with the local community and learning more about wildlife conservation. Proceeds from the festival will support the animals in the care of the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center.
The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of wild animals impacted by human encroachment on their natural habitats.
