East Hampton Man Facing Felony DWI Charges: Police
The man was stopped for following a car too closely, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was slapped with felony driving while intoxicated charges after he was seen following a car too closely, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, William X. Anguisaca-Garcia, 26, was arrested on September 25 at 12:28 a.m.; he had been driving a 2015 gold GMC Terrain west on Route 114 near Stephen Hands Path when he was stopped.
Upon investigation, he was found to have slurred speech, bloodshot, glassy eyes, was unsteady on his feet and performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests, police said.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1 percent or more alcohol, prior conviction of designated offense in the past 10 years, a felony; DWI, previous conviction of designated offense within 10 years, a felony; first degree aggravated unlicensed and second degree commit aggravated unlicensed operation/alcohol or drugs, a felony; and third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, police said.
Bail was set at $7,500, police said.
