Updated Covid-19 Boosters Advised (easthamptonstar.com) — East Hampton Town residents are being urged to get the new bivalent Covid-19 booster as local testing in Wainscott continues to show relatively high positivity rates. Free at-home test kits remain available at Town Hall, and the CareONE site on Stephen Hand's Path is open Wednesdays and Fridays. Doctors emphasize boosters for older adults, pregnant women, and anyone at higher risk this fall and winter.
   

2. A 'Very Different' School Year (easthamptonstar.com) — Families in East Hampton and neighboring districts will see a more normal school year as New York relaxes Covid rules, ending 10-day quarantines and most routine testing. Local superintendents, including East Hampton's Adam Fine, say the earlier guidance gives them time to prepare, while masks become largely optional and in-person learning remains the clear priority.

Industry executives, artists, and a live performance will anchor the evening, highlighting women's leadership and creative paths in today's music business.
   

4. Designer Debate: Should You Remodel a Vintage Bathroom? (architecturaldigest.com subscription) — A notable East Hampton modernist home, Onna House, is showcased as an example of how to thoughtfully remodel a vintage bathroom without erasing its character. 5. Hamptons Whodunit Expands to Savannah in November (danspapers.com) — East Hampton readers will see their popular Hamptons Whodunit mystery festival not only return home April 15–18, 2027, but also expand to Savannah through a new Marriott partnership. Organizers promise the same intimate author interactions, tours, and student-focused educational programs that have become a hallmark of the East Hampton edition.
