East Hampton Village Presented With 2014 Commission Excellence Award
The East Hampton Ladies Village Improvement Society presented the award on Friday, Sept. 19.
The East Hampton Ladies Village Improvement Society (LVIP) presented the 2014 Commission Excellence Award from the National Alliance of Preservation to the Village Board of Trustees on Friday, Sept. 19.
The Design Review Board was nominated by the LVIS for their 2013 legislature which gave zoning incentives to homeowners in timber frame homes willing to landmark their property.
The village enacted the code in 2013.

“The Village is thrilled to be recognized at a national level,” Becky Molinaro, the village administrator, said.
