EHRLC, East Hampton Recycling Facility Issues "Call For Cardboard" Starting Friday
Residents, businesses, and schools are asked to bring clean, flattened cardboard to the East Hampton recycling facility.

In honor of Recycling Awareness Month, starting on Friday, Oct. 25 and running through the end of the month, the East Hampton Recycling and Littering Committee and the East Hampton recycling facility has issued a โCall for Cardboardโ.
Residents, businesses, and schools are asked to bring their clean, flattened cardboard to the East Hampton recycling facility at 260 Springs Fireplace Road and will be directed to drop off the cardboard in the old compost building.
There will not be a fee charged to enter the facility for those dropping off cardboard.

โCardboard is in great demand, and is a commodity that we should be collecting and recycling rather than adding to landfills,โ reads a press release from the town. โThis โCall for Cardboardโ event will generate revenue for the town, and reduce residents and businesses costs to dispose of cardboard.โ
