Friends Open Hearts to Raise Funds for Family of Man Found Dead in Montauk
Funeral services for the Eastport man take place Wednesday and Thursday.

Friends are coming together to support the family of a man found dead in Montauk over the weekend.
A GoFundMe page, "Remembering Gavin" has raised $500 of its $1,000 goal in one day.
"This morning the world lost a man who had only just began his journey through life," the page said. "A social extrovert and a companion to many, Gavin frequently changed the life of his peers with his presence alone. This page is dedicated to his life."

All proceeds will go directly to his family to help offset costs in a time "where money is just a minute detail in the scheme of things," the page said.
Services for Keblish will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sinnickson's Moriches Funeral Home, located at 203 Main Street, Center Moriches, NY, 11934.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Gavin Q. Keblish, 23, of Eastport, was found by a passerby on a grassy area near 23 Fort Pond Road at 6:02 a.m. Saturday.
East Hampton Town Police responded to the scene and confirmed that the man was deceased, officials said.
The death does not appear to be suspicious in nature and no foul play is expected, police said.
East Hampton Town Police and the Suffolk County Medical Examiners are investigating the death. Anyone with information is asked to call the East Hampton Town Police Department at 631-537-7575.
