Great Montauk Clean to Take Place This Weekend

The Concerned Citizens of Montauk will be hosting ’The Great Montauk Cleanup’ this Saturday.

The group will be collaborating with the Group for the East End, Montauk School, the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society and the Surfrider Foundation.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kirk Park Parking Lot (next to IGA Montauk) on South Emerson Avenue.

Participants can stop by the donated Mickey’s Carting dumpster in Kirk Park Parking lot on Saturday to pick up bags and gloves, then head out to the nearby beaches and parks or wherever in Montauk you think most needs trash and debris removal.

Dumpster will be stationed in Kirk Parking Lot all day so collection bags can be dropped off at any times.
