John Jermain Memorial Library Budget Approved

The John Jermain Memorial Library budget was approved during the vote on Monday.

The budget was approved with 198 Yes votes and 32 No votes.

In addition, voters elected new trustees to the library’s board: Ann Lieber with 154 votes, Ann Sutphen with 144 votes, Jacqueline Brody with 129 votes, Susan Sabin with 127 votes, Robert Hooke with 84 votes and Caleb Kercheval with 71 votes.

The top three vote getters begin their three year terms on Jan. 1, 2015, with incumbents Brody and Lieber elected along with Sutphen.
