Lunch and Learn in NYC with Rabbi Zimmerman of The Jewish Center of the Hamptons

The class has decided to study (beginning November 11th) David Ruderman’s book, “Early Modern Jewry: A New Cultural History”, which is available in paperback at bookstores and through Amazon. This book was the winner of the 2010 National Jewish Book Award in History given by the Jewish Book Council. It is a unique, exciting and eye opening work which continues to enrich and inform present day Jewish scholarship and understanding of the larger patterns of cultural formation affecting early modern Jewry as a whole.
