Man With Forged Registration Slapped With Felony Charge: Cops
He had a forged registration sticker, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man is facing a felony charge after he was stopped with a forged registration sticker, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Angel R. Palacios-Palla, 44, was arrested on April 26 at 4:30 p.m. after he was stopped while driving a 2001 Dodge van north on North Main Street, near Springs Fireplace Road, and found to have a forged registration sticker on a Florida plate, which he'd placed on his van to avoid payment for registration renewal, police said.
He was charged with second degree forgery, official document, a felony, police said.

Palacios-Palla was also found with a fraudulent Florida automobile insurance card and was charged with third degree possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor, police said.
He also had a fraudulent Florida registration document that appeared to be altered and laminated, and had vehicle information that did not match his vehicle, police said. In addition, he was charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, police said; his license was suspended in 2014 due to failure to pay child support, police said.
He was released into the custody of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, police said.
