Missing LI Teen With Autism Found Safe In NYC: Police
It's believed he ran away, police say.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — A 15-year-old Long Island boy with autism who had been missing in East Hampton since Wednesday was found safe in New York City Monday, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, at 4:15 p.m., the MTA informed police that John Gray had been located at Penn Station, safe and in good condition.
He was being transported to East Hampton town police headquarters in Wainscott to be reunited with his family, police said. The circumstances regarding his departure from East Hampton do not appear to be suspicious; it appears to be a runaway situation, police said.

John was last on Three Mile Harbor Drive in East Hampton at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
