This spring, artists are finding inspiration in the natural landscapes throughout East Hampton, Montauk and Shelter Island and are creating a new body of work to support The Nature Conservancy on Long Island.
Members of The Wednesday Group: Plein Air Painters of the East End are setting up easels at locations including the Conservancy’s Center for Conservation, Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island and the Andy Warhol Visual Arts Preserve in Montauk to create landscapes for a show: "Nature Inspires!” a month-long celebration of the beauty of the east end, culminating with the Conservancy’s Beaches and Bays Gala at the end of the month.

30% of proceeds from the sale of the paintings will benefit the island-wide work of The Nature Conservancy. In addition to protecting the lands and waters that make Long Island a natural paradise, the Conservancy has made restoring Long Island’s water quality a top priority.
