On Saturday, despite some light showers, the East Hampton House and Garden Tour attracted over 450 guests.
The theme of the tour, “A Peek at History: Behind the Hedgerows”, showcased some of the finest examples of historical and modern architecture in the Hamptons.
“The Opening Night Cocktail and House Tour are our most important fund-raisers,” event chairman Joseph Aversano said. “Without question, this is an opportunity for our house tour guests to delight in some special houses. So while you’re contemplating the history behind the hedgerows, your dollars will be hard at work supporting the East Hampton Historical Society and its museums.”
