Police ID Man Critically Hurt in Industrial Accident in East Hampton
A stack of sheetrock fell on the man Friday morning, police say.

UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as 75-year-old George J. Lombardi, of East Hampton. Lombardi was hurt after stack of sheetrock fell on top of him, police say. Lombardi is listed in critical condition at Stony Brook University Hospital.

A man was seriously injured in an industrial accident that occurred at the Riverhead Building Supply Dairy Yard located at 1 Cove Hollow Road in East Hampton on Friday, according to East Hampton Town Police.

The man was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital following the accident, which occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m., police said.
Police are investigating the incident and no further information has been released by police.
