DA: West Islip Man to Be Indicted For Shooting Teens With BB Gun
Local man will be in court Thursday.

A 20-year-old West Islip man accused of shooting two teens with a BB gun in West Islip last month with be arraigned on an indictment in Riverhead Thursday, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said Wednesday.
Ismael Forbes was arrested in Bay Shore on April 26 after police say he shot the teens at the corner of corner of Higbie Lane and Udall Road.
One of the teens was shot in the chin and required surgery to remove the BB, while the other victim had surgery to remove the pellet from his nasal cavity, the DA said. Both teens told authorities they were shot as Forbes drove by in a minivan, authorities said.

Police charged Forbes with two counts of second degree assault with intent to inflict physical injury.
