Pollock/Krasner House & Study Center John H. Marburger III Memorial Lecture – Christy MacLear of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation presents New Takes on Legacy: The Artist, The Architect, and The Historic Home

Christy MacLear is the Executive Director of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, which shares the creative and civic-minded spirit that exemplified Rauschenberg’s life. Before joining the foundation in 2011, MacLear was founding executive director of the Philip Johnson Glass House. She was the Manager of Strategy for the Walt Disney Company’s new town project called Celebration, was the Director of the Museum Campus in Chicago, and was an independent consultant in Strategy & Visitor Experience to such clients as the Field Museum, the Cleveland Clinic and the leaders of the United Arab Emirates. She has a degree in Urban Design from Stanford University and an MBA from Wharton where she received a Barnes fellowship. She has been a professor in the graduate program of Arts Administration for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and serves on the Board of the Municipal Arts Society and Advisory Councils of Stanford University, Harvard University and Cranbrook.
