The opening reception will take place on Friday.
Ross School seventh graders will be presenting The Illusion of Definition, an exhibition featuring East End artists Roisin Bateman, Don Christensen, and Anne Raymond.
The show will open with a reception on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Ross Gallery in East Hampton.

As in past years, the students met and interviewed professional local artists, took photos, wrote biographies, selected works, installed the show, and hosted the opening.
This year, Art teacher Jon Mulhern, Dean of Visual Arts Jennifer Cross, and Cultural History teacher Carol Crane will be helping the students with their exhibit.

All three artists who will be presented in the show created abstract artworks using a variety of media.
In addition to the pieces by the professionals, the students’ own artworks inspired by their visits with the artists will be on display.
The exhibition will remain on view until June 23.
