Search Continues For Missing Sagaponack Woman
Lilia "Esperanza" Aucapina was reported missing last Saturday.

Police are continuing search efforts to find a Sagaponack woman who went missing last Saturday in East Hampton.
Lilia βEsperanzaβ Aucapina, of 517 Toppings Path in Sagaponack, was last seen at about 9 a.m. Saturday near 398 Montauk Highway in East Hampton, where East Hampton Town Police responded to a disturbance, police said.
Aucapina was reported missing 12 hours later at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday and a search started with police, K-9 units and several Suffolk County Police aviation units, according to police.

Since then, police have been conducting searches every day, expanding out from her residence with ATV patrols, canine patrols, foot patrols and aviation patrols.
A recorded message has been sent to all residents on the South Fork asking them to contact authorities with any information they may have on Aucapinaβs whereabouts.

Aucapina, who earns a living cleaning houses, is 5-foot-3, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone who has hired Aucapina in the past isΒ urged to contact police.
