Student Film Workshops

The 7th Annual Student Film Workshop presented by Guild Hall and the Hamptons International Film Festival in collaboration with LTV. Young filmmakers (ages 8-11 and 12-15) are invited to join Anne Chaisson (Executive Director, Hamptons International Film Festival) and Seth Redlus (Television Producer and Executive Director, LTV) along with other special guests to create stories through the medium of digital video. The focus of the workshop is visual self-expression. Students will learn the entire process—from development and writing, to acting, blocking, production, cinematography, and editing. Experienced filmmakers will share their knowledge and craft each day. The workshop will culminate in a screening of students’ work.

Introduction to Filmmaking, ages 8-11 / 10am – 1pm, $300/$290 members. I

Intermediate – Hands-on Filmmaking, ages 12-15 / 2pm – 5pm, $400/$390 members.
