at the home of Lisa & Richard Perry – by invitation

* * PLEASE NOTE TWO ACTIVITIES ON SAME

What: The third annual summer
“Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink” fundraiser, benefiting The Breast
Cancer Research Foundation
will be an event in two parts—a multi-skill
level paddle boarding race and benefit party co-hosted by prominent New Yorkers
Lisa & Richard Perry and full-time Hamptons residents Maria & Larry
Baum. The morning paddle board race will bring together hundreds of competitive
paddle boarders and spectators. The race will be followed by a sunset party at
the spectacular residence of Lisa & Richard Perry attended by several
hundred guests in support of raising critical funds for breast cancer research.

Co-chair
Maria Baum, mother of four and co-owner of the well-known Sag Harbor restaurant
Tutto Il Giorno, took on paddle boarding as an exuberant activity to help her
cope through her breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and subsequent recovery.
She will once again race alongside longtime paddler Richard Perry and the
anticipated 150-plus paddlers. The race will follow World Paddle Association
racing rules and all racers will be timed with the WPA Blast Race Management
System. Following the race, guests will revel at a sunset party.

Last year’s
evening event, which drew such guests as
Laird Hamilton, Gabrielle Reece, Aerin Lauder, William Lauder, Donna Karan,
Hilary Rhoda, Matt Lauer, Edie Falco, Martha
Stewart, Carolyn Murphy, Hannah Bronfman, Gary Cohn, Edward Lampert, Thom
Filicia Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler
, raised over $1.2 million in funds
that went directly toward the Foundation. One of the highlights of the evening
was the auction of one-of-a-kind Laird paddle boards designed by Lisa
Perry, Nicole Miller, Ross Bleckner, and Tory Burch.  Additional
highlights included heartfelt remarks from Baum and an inspiring overview of
the Foundation’s mission to find a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime from
BCRF Scientific Advisory Board Chairman Clifford Hudis, MD (Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, MSKCC).
