Topic: “The ‘Other’ in Modern Hebrew Poetry”
Irit Burkeman, a resident of London, is an experienced teacher and lecturer with extensive knowledge of Hebrew Literature and Poetry. She served on the faculty of Leo Baeck College in London. Ms. Burkeman is involved in various interfaith activities, including organizing teams of the Jewish Christian Muslim Conference in Germany, Jewish Muslim seminars run by the An-Nisa Society and Leo Baeck College, and is on the faculty of the Cambridge Co-Exist Foundation Leadership Programme. She recently taught a six-week course on the “other” in modern Hebrew poetry in JW3 London.
