Time to Get Out and Sail East End Waters

Enjoy the Sailing this Summer.

Lots of great winds and sunny day presented the east end with a great 2014 sailing summer! Trips to Sag Harbor and Greenport, along with various Shelter Island spots are/were fun. The reason for this blog is that I have noticed less activity out on the bays. If you have a sailboat get out there, no matter how busy you are, or whatever problems you may have  because a few hours under sail will only make you feel better at the core of your soul.

The water is the biggest gift of living on the east end. The energy , the amazing ocean air, and the beauty of the ocean and bays are so special. What I am saying is make a special effort to get out on the water before the weather goes from ally to wicked. If you don’t have a boat ask someone who does, we love to share the sailing experience.

Lastly when you do sail please keep all refuse on the boat and in the boat. travel at safe speeds, and be courteous on the water. The friendly nautical wave is just what it is , a friendly hello.
