Town Supervisor Proposes 2015 Budget
Supervisor Larry Cantwell released details of his $71.5 million 2015 budget.

The details of East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell’s proposed 2015 budget were released last Thursday, Sept. 25, 27east reports.
The $71.5 budget represents an increase in spending by 2.95 percent over this year’s budgets, but with a projected tax levy of $49.2 million, stays below the New York tax levy cap, according to 27east.
Budget approval means residents outside a village could expect an increased tax rate from $28.36 per $100 of assessed value to $28.94 per $100 while residents inside the village could expect an increased tax rate from $11.31 per $100 to $11.67 per $100.
