Water Mill Restaurant Closes Down After Chef Resigns

Via Del Mare, which announced their opening last week, has been closed as of Thursday after Chef Marco Barrila resigned.

Barrila, a top New York City chef and owner of the catering company Insatiable EATS, resigned on Thursday due to the internal conflicts between the ownership, according to a restaurant spokesperson.

The restaurant, located on 670 Montauk Highway in Water Mill, is now closed.

There is no word if the restaurant will reopen anytime soon.
