Woman, Baby Taken to Hospital After Accident During Snowstorm
The accident occurred on Thursday morning.

A woman and her baby were taken to Southampton Hospital after they were involved in an accident during the snowstorm on Thursday morning on Montauk Highway between Green Hollow Road and Stephen Hands Path in East Hampton Village.
The East Hampton Fire Department’s heavy rescue squad removed both the woman and her baby from the car which collided into a snow bank after it was hit by another car shortly after 6 a.m. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and her baby appeared uninjured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to a report in The East Hampton Star.

The accident is still under investigation, but appears to have been caused by the slippery roadway causing one car to T-bone the other, according to the report.
