In order to purchase a piece for your home, you’ll need to be smart and savvy in terms of shopping skills. In other words, upon spotting that perfect piece to dress up your neutral lawn furniture or a patio that has seen more than its share of snow, wind and rain, purchase it! Certainly situations exist where impulse buys are discouraged. However, with an approximate attendance of 30,000 people at each of the two day events, some rules will have simply have to fall by the wayside.
Perhaps you’re an artisan yourself, and buying various items does not sound as appealing as selling your own masterpieces. Vendors in all categories are currently being accepted for these events. All vendors must be licensed by the New York State Sales Tax Department. Information about how to apply, as well as other vendor rules and general information about the show, is available at the Nassau and Suffolk County Craft and Gift Shows website.
