The broader schedule features matchups across Nassau and Suffolk, with standout players returning from injury and plenty of early-season storylines to follow.
4. Student becomes the master: 17-year-old teaches personal finance to peers (longislandpress.com) — East Meadow teens and tweens have been learning money basics right at the East Meadow Public Library, where a Jericho High School senior has led free personal finance workshops. His peer-taught sessions, supported by an app and online content, aim to make topics like credit, debt and budgeting less intimidating for young people across Nassau County.
