NUMC Representatives Attend Nassau Learning Academy Core Leadership Program

latest group of participants who attended the Nassau Learning Academy Core Leadership Program completed the five class management training program and were presented with certificates on March 1.

The Nassau Learning Academy is a learning initiative in which the NuHealth System’s leaders share their expertise and knowledge while seeking to promote active changes in teamwork and communication.

This five class series includes classes in:

• Leadership and Managing Change presented by Arthur Gianelli, CEO

• Quality Management presented by Maureen Shannon, Vice President of Quality Management

• Conflict Resolution presented by Larry Slatky, Executive Vice President of Operations

• Healthcare Finance presented by John Maher, CFO

• Putting Patients First: How to Develop a Patient-Centered Care Organization presented by Cheryl Friedman, Director of Patient Satisfaction
