Annual Summer Festival & Raffle Auction on Saturday, September 1

Fun for the entire family!

Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, located at 369 Green Ave., East Meadow, will host its annual Faith, Food & Fellowship Festival on Saturday, Sept. 1 (rain or shine) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will feature Greek, Slavic and BBQ foods, live Slavic music by “Barynya," a raffle auction, kids games and prizes, a flea market, vendors and 50/50 raffle. There will be prayer services and church tours throughout the day. Admission is free.

The "Barynya" Slavic music ensemble will be performing from noon to 3 p.m., and will feature ethnic music, costumes and dancing. Kids are encouraged to join the band for certain activities.

Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, founded in 1924, was the first Orthodox Christian parish established in the Nassau/Suffolk area. Holy Trinity Church is a parish of the autocephalous Orthodox Church in America.
