East Meadow Post Office Not Delivering Monday

The East Meadow Post office is closed for business, thus residents will not be receiving their mail on Monday, officials said.

According to one employee of the East Meadow branch, who chose to remain anonymous, it's just unreasonable to think that it makes sense to deliver in this weather.

"It's not worth risking their safety," he said. "People will get their mail tomorrow."

As plows continue to travel up and down East Meadow's street, the employee believes the mail service will be back up to speed on Tuesday.

"I have no doubt," he said. "Safety shouldn't be an issue by tomorrow."
