East Meadow Students Earn National Merit Honors
Clarke High School students named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students.

W.T. Clarke High School student Kevin Wang and East Meadow High School students Nicole Newberger, Gillian Pitzer and Natalie Weiss have been named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students.
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation have been recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.
The East Meadow Commended Students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship qualifying test.
