Free seminars will be available all weekend and repeat hourly. The seminars focus on educating attendees in basement finishing, kitchen and bath remodeling, home performance improvements, dormers and extensions.
Additionally, attendees can learn to improve their home’s curb appeal by looking at the latest trends in roofing, siding and windows in the exteriors seminar. Other seminars will address healthy living and what it means to go green in your home.
“The design show allows us to express our desire, as a company, to create a relationship with our customers,” said Robin Weiss, events coordinator for Alure Home Improvements. “We’re not just a contractor. We’re a full service company, from design to installation and completion to follow-up. This allows us to begin this relationship and for the customer to learn a little more about us.”
The Handyman Seminar is one that can appeal to all homeowners. This seminar introduces Alure’s Handyman Home Services, designed to handle all of those projects kept on the back burner. Alure is encouraging attendees to go through every room of their home with a pen and paper and make a To Do list of everything you want done. Make sure to stop by the Handyman Seminar and begin crossing off some of those “To Do’s.”
Alure’s Design and Planning Show is looking to turn remodeling into something a little less daunting, and a lot more fun. In addition to food and drinks that will be available, there will be a free raffle. Prizes include a 50” LCD television, an Apple iPad, $100 Best Buy gift card and tickets to sporting events.
This year’s show has added a Wine Pairing Seminar and a Super Bowl Appetizers Seminar, so you can learn some great new recipes, too.
The show will be held this weekend at the Alure Showroom at 1999 Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow.
