Concert: Karin Marcello (Flute) & Karen Lindquist (Harp) with Composer Barry Hartglass

Karin Marcello (flute) is a soloist and member of the Brookhaven Flute Choir in addition to teaching at her Stony Brook studio. Karin composes and records original works as well as flute parts for contemporary composers.

Karen Lindquist (harp) is an avid chamber music player and has appeared at the Marlboro Music Festival, with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Bravo! Colorado Festival in Vail and many others. Formerly a member of the Baltimore Symphony, she is principal harp of the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the Long Island Philharmonic orchestras.

Barry Hartglass' music has been heard on CNN, NBC, and numerous other venues. His chamber music composition "Tarot" (for flute and harp) is featured on Karin Marcello's CD "Vision."
