Fall For Style at Roosevelt Field

Long Islander’s can get a customized style experience and significantly bump up the fashion content of their closets at Roosevelt Field’s LOOKBOOK Live, a fall trend event taking place on Saturday, October 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. in North Court. A collaboration with Glamour and GQ magazines, LOOKBOOK Live translates fall’s hottest fashion trends from the runway into real life styles, and shares where to shop for the looks you love – in the place where you love to shop.

LOOKBOOK Live kicks off with eight pages of fall fashion trends in Glamour and GQ’s September issues and continues online at simon.com/lookbooklive with his-and-hers in-depth videos on how to wear fall’s best styles.

Hourly stage events will feature experts from GQ & Glamour showcasing and discussing male and female fashions with live models.

Visitors can check out four trend-themed Style Closets, filled with his-and-hers styles – from chunky knits (pictured) to sportscore, workwear and outerwear. Professional stylists will be on hand to help shoppers interpret looks, for a customized experience.

Beauty Stations will offer complimentary beauty and grooming touch-ups, tailored to the different style closets.

Style Challenges will be held every hour and engage shoppers to pack a suitcase with their style picks for a selected destination. Style experts will choose the winning suitcases and winners will receive gift card prizes.

LOOKBOOK Live at Roosevelt Field is sponsored locally by Winthrop University Hospital.

A special invitation-only VIP event will be held on Friday, October 9 at 6 p.m. to provide a preview of the LOOKBOOK Live event to local insiders, media and VIP guests.
