Eileen is not alone. Thousands attend concerts at parks in the local area each summer. This year, bands paying tribute to the likes of Bon Jovi, Frank Sinatra, the Police, and the sounds of Broadway to name a few, will be making the rounds.

"We expect about 2,000 people [tonight] if not more," said TOH cultural arts coordinator Barbara Badler. "It's a beautiful night, families come down with kids and share a great night together."

For Desert Highway, it's all about bringing their love of The Eagles to the masses. The group is made up of Long Island musicians, and they've earned a stellar reputation in their two and a half years together.

"[The crowds] really seem to appreciate the effort we've put into the vocals and guitar work. It's quite a handful," said lead singer Joey Salucci. "We've got to the point where we're real proud of it and they just enjoy it and keep coming back."

All the shows are free to attend, and Salucci says he feels the love as he belts out Desperado and Hotel California on stage.

"Every show has been wonderful, people are just loving it," he said.
