Healy, Morales Named Second-Team All-State

It was a season of remarkable moments for Robbie Healy and Dom Morales.
Healy , accumulating 38 total touchdowns, which broke the record of 35 set by Freeport's Kevin Allen in 2009
The rest of the state took notice. The New York State Sportswriters Association announced Wednesday its All-State football team. Wagner and Morales, both seniors, was named to the Class A second team.

Morales helped lead an offensive line that paved the way for the Jets' dominant rushing attack. This is a major reason why East Meadow set a county record for points in a season (544) and since 2006.
In the title game, Healy had 59 yards rushing and a touchdown, while Morales opened up holes that led to East Meadow accruing more than 200 yards on the ground.

"We had a great season," East Meadow Coach Vincent Mascia said. "This will be a team I will always keep in a special place in my heart."
