Nassau Teen Accused Of Killing Man Near House Party
Police said the teenager shot a man, who was found in a nearby parking lot and pronounced dead at the hospital.
WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police on Monday arrested a teenager who they say was responsible for the killing of a man near a house party last month.
According to police, officers responded to the parking lot of 445 Union Ave. in Westbury for a report of a person shot at 1:05 a.m. on Aug. 16. When officers arrived, they found Alexis Gonzalez-Sanchez, 27, of Melville, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.
Police said Gonzalez-Sanchez was found close to a house party.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy from Hempstead in connection with the killing. Police did not release his name. He will be charged in youth court, police said.
