Nassau Police Make Arrest for August Murder

BREAKING: It's the third arrest made for the crime.

Police have arrested a Uniondale man and charged him with the August murder of Jude Saint-Clair, who was gunned down while standing on a street in Uniondale

Joshua Taylor, 24, of Park Avenue in Uniondale, was arrested with the assistance of the Hartford City Police Department in Indiana on Sept. 10 and extradited back to Nassau on Sept. 16.

According to police, Saint-Clair was standing on the street outside of 926 Nassau Road in Uniondale on the morning of Aug. 21 when he was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at 10:22 a.m.

At the end of August, police arrested Kadeem Lyle, 22, of Washington Avenue, Roosevelt, and Jorge Burgess, 23, of Oakley Street, Uniondale, in connection with the murder.

Lyle was charged with second degree criminal facilitation and first degree hindering prosecution. Burgess was charged with second degree murder and second degree criminal possession of a weapon. Taylor as charged with second degree murder.
