Prom Dress Drive

Team Julia is sponsoring a Prom Dress Drive for Long Island students and parents. It will be held on Friday May 1, 2015 at the Presbyterian Church of Sweet Hollow in Melville from 6pm - 9pm.

We will be selling gently used formal dresses from $15-$35 to young ladies who otherwise may not be able to afford them at all. All proceeds will go to Team Julia ~ Fight Like a Girl, Inc. to help families suffering from pediatric cancer. Unlike most charities, there are no salaries given at our organization. Monetary donations are 100% tax deductible. Team Julia ~ Fight Like a Girl, Inc. is a national tax-exempt 501 c 3 Not-for-Profit Organization.

We will be selling $1 raffles to help raise money the night of the Prom Dress Drive. Items such as costume jewelry, evening purses, dress shoes, dresses, and gift cards from businesses that may sell these items as well as gift cards for services such as hair salon up-do’s, nail salons, and make-up artists will be raffled!! All of the raffles will be divided up into areas, so that you may choose to enter for items and services in your particular surrounding towns.
